Upside Down Chair

Young Projects worked hand in hand with master artisans, Art in Construction, to develop this one of a kind piece that elevates age old techniques of scagliola with the unprecedented use of concrete. The outcome is a a vibrant and durable “marble” like finish which undulates from a smooth refined sitting surface, to a rough geological exterior. The Upside Down Chair’s durable but elegant form and use of material, allows it to be fluidly set as an exterior or interior piece.
